Jason E. Silverstein graduated from the University of Baltimore, School of Law in 1999. Prior to that, he obtain degrees in political science and history from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He began his legal career with a law firm in Columbia, Maryland were he tried cases involving complex legal issues and conducted over a thousand real estate settlements.
At the end of 2000, Mr. Silverstein joined the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office as an Assistant State's Attorney. While with the State's Attorney's Office, he prosecuted many serious misdemeanors and felony cases. During his last five years with the office, he was selected to supervise the prosecution of felony narcotics cases, including Title III (Wire Tap), which involved large amounts of narcotics transported into the State of Maryland from other states or countries.
Since joining the law firm of Roland Walker and Marc Zayon, PA, he has been actively involved in the defense of clients who were charged with serious felony and misdemeanor offenses and has been successful in bringing to this firm his extensive background in those areas of the law.
