A Summa Cum Laude and Honors
graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, Roland
Walker was admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 1952. He served
on active duty until 1955 in the Judge Advocate Generals’ Corps,
U.S. Army, defending individuals before General Courts Martial.
In private practice since 1955 handling State and Federal
litigation, criminal and civil, he has extensive experience in
both jury and non-jury cases. Serving with Volunteers in Service
to America (VISTA) as an attorney, Roland Walker counseled grass
roots organizations and economically disadvantaged peoples’
groups in housing and human rights. He has served as a lecturer
at the University of Baltimore Law School, and has also served
as Vice President of X-cell, Inc., a residential drug and
alcohol rehabilitation center. Currently, he holds a membership
in The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The
American Trial Lawyers Association, local bar associations and
is admitted to the United States Supreme Court Bar.
